Job summary
The Fund for Public Health in New York City seeks a Relay Trainer to support the Relay overdose response system. You will train and onboard staff, develop curricula, and coordinate trainings across hospital staff and community partners.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or 6 years of relevant commensurate experience.
- Experience with curriculum development and training facilitation for adult learners, especially around substance use and mental health issues, racial equity and social justice concepts.
- Experience supervising peers.
- Knowledge of substance use issues and harm reduction practices, including syringe exchange and overdose prevention.
Responsibilities
- Provide onboarding, technical assistance, and training to Relay staff.
- Develop and deliver group training for Relay staff and hospital staff.
- Coach Wellness Advocates on training preparation, planning and delivery.
- Identify opportunities for external organizations to educate Relay staff.
- Support trainings to Bureau staff, partner organizations, or NYC community on trends and overdose prevention.
