Job summary

Odyssey House Louisiana, Inc. seeks a full-time Harm Reduction Trainer for the Prevention Program to deliver naloxone and harm reduction trainings across New Orleans and other LA communities.

You will engage with community partners, perform street outreach, and refer clients to OHL services. This role emphasizes compassionate care, data gathering, and collaboration with the Program Manager to advance ethical practices, coordinate trainings, and support individuals toward medical care and

Qualifications

• Minimum qualifications include an Associate's Degree or equivalent.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• One year experience providing health education to various populations.
• Familiarity with the community served by the Agency.

Responsibilities

• Provide naloxone trainings to community-based organizations and at events.
• Inform community members on naloxone use and access through outreach events.
• Conduct street outreach, trainings at OHL and partner agencies as directed by Program Manager.
• Perform data entry and data gathering as directed by Program Manager.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation of all activities for data collection.
