Electrical Power Systems (EPS) seeks a Relay Technician II to perform testing, commissioning, and maintenance of protection and control relays. This mid-level role emphasizes safety, technical proficiency, and collaboration with engineers to ensure project success across North America.

The ideal candidate will expand expertise in relay protection schemes, system analysis, and advanced testing practices while supporting field activities, reporting, and customer communication.

Qualifications

• Must pass pre-employment drug screen.
• Must complete a satisfactory criminal background check.
• Ability to work overtime and travel out of town for periods.
• Valid driver's license with good driving record.

Responsibilities

• Perform relay testing with assistance from Senior Technicians and Engineers.
• Execute element, logic, and basic functional testing of protective relays.
• Read and interpret one-line/three-line diagrams and protection logic.
• Create testing and isolation plans for safe execution.
• Document test results, commissioning records, and calibration data.
