Electrical Power Systems (EPS) is seeking a Relay Technician II to perform testing, commissioning, and maintenance of protection and control relays with growing independence. The role emphasizes safety, technical proficiency, and collaboration with Senior Relay Technicians and Engineers.

You will develop relay protection knowledge, execute end-to-end testing, read diagrams, and create detailed test reports. Travel to client sites for field work may be required across North America.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience installing, maintaining, testing & repairing protective relays.
• Capable of troubleshooting distribution and transmission controls circuits.
• Knowledge of relay test software.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to safety policies and participate in job briefings and hazard mitigation.
• Perform relay testing with assistance from Senior Relay Technicians and Engineers.
• Develop testing plans and isolation plans for safe execution.
• Create detailed reports, including test results and calibration documentation.
