Electric Power Systems (EPS) is seeking a Relay Technician II to perform testing, commissioning, and maintenance of protection and control systems. You will work with Senior Relay Technicians and Engineers to develop testing plans, troubleshoot issues, and document results in detailed reports.

The role emphasizes safety, technical proficiency, and accurate communication with clients and project stakeholders. Strong problem solving and field deployment skills are required.

Formación

• Pre-employment drug screen required for safety sensitive role.
• Criminal background check required.
• Overtime and travel may be required.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
• Hands-on experience with protective relays in substations.

Responsabilidades

• Adhere to safety policies and participate in job briefings and hazard mitigation.
• Apply Human Performance Error Reduction concepts in daily work.
• Promote safe work behaviors and support safety initiatives.
• Perform relay testing with Senior Technicians and Engineers.
• Execute testing of protective relays and control systems.
• Read and interpret one-line diagrams, three-line diagrams, and schematics.
• Develop testing and isolation plans for safe execution.
• Create detailed reports and commissioning records.
