Job summary

Electrical Power Systems (EPS) is seeking a mid-level Relay Technician II to perform testing, commissioning, and maintenance of protection and control systems. You will work with Senior Technicians and Engineers, develop testing plans, and generate detailed reports while prioritizing safety and quality.

The role requires strong relay knowledge, the ability to troubleshoot complex protection schemes, and effective communication with clients and project teams.

Qualifications

• Pass pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel for projects.
• Experience installing, testing, and repairing protective relays.

Responsibilities

• Perform relay testing, commissioning, and maintenance with supervision as needed.
• Create detailed test results, commissioning records, and calibration docs.
• Read schematics and diagrams; develop testing and isolation plans.
• Communicate clearly with engineers, clients, and team members.
• Coordinate with project teams to ensure alignment and safety.
