Job summary

Entergy is seeking a Supv, Relay Design to lead engineering design activities for relay projects in the New Orleans area, supervising engineers and ensuring on-time, on-budget delivery. The role requires a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, at least seven years of leadership experience, and strong knowledge of relay design practices.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct supervision to an engineering staff of relay design engineers, including coaching, training, effective resource management, providing technical guidance, and quality assurance.
• Evaluates resource levels for workloads and assigns staff and contractors; manages consultants and cost tracking.
• Acts as primary contact for design evaluations, proposals and estimates for studies and customer requests.
• Supports development, maintenance, and implementation of relay design standards.
• Responds to relay-related regulatory and compliance issues.
