Job summary

Entergy is offering a Student Intern position within the Project Delivery Engineering Department in New Orleans, LA. You will work in a team to assist engineers with day-to-day tasks, including engineering analysis, project scoping, cost estimation, and relay design package preparation.

The role supports design work based on site visits, prepares operational drawings, and assists with as-built documentation.

Qualifications

• Must be actively enrolled in Electrical Engineering at bachelor, master, or doctoral level.
• Minimum GPA 2.8 (on 4.0 scale), verified via transcript.
• Junior or senior status preferred.
• Travel may be required.

Responsibilities

• Assist engineers in day-to-day activities within a team environment.
• Perform detailed engineering analysis, project scoping, and cost estimation.
• Prepare IFA/IFC relay design packages and one-line drawings.
• Support design based on project scope and site visits.
• Contribute to as-built documentation and project deliverables.
• Assist in ensuring compliance with industry standards (NERC, SERC) and regulations.
