Job summary

Entergy invites students to join the Engineering Relay Design internship in New Orleans, LA for Summer 2027. You will work in the Project Delivery Engineering Department, supporting engineers with detailed analyses, project scoping, and design tasks across multiple disciplines.

The role requires active enrollment in Electrical Engineering at bachelor’s, master’s, or doctoral level, with a minimum 2.8 GPA. Onsite work, potential travel, and site visits are included as part of the internship

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor’s, master’s or doctoral degree in Electrical Engineering during the internship.
• Minimum GPA 2.8 (4.0 scale) verified by official transcript.
• Active enrollment; preferred junior/senior status at hire.
• Onsite internship location in New Orleans, LA.

Responsibilities

• Assist engineers with day-to-day activities in a team setting.
• Perform detailed engineering analysis and project scoping.
• Prepare operational drawings and as-built documentation.
• Support design based on site visits and project scope.
• Travel up to 25% as needed.
