Job summary

Landus Cooperative in Utah seeks a Relationship Specialist to provide outstanding customer service to farmer owners and to join a supportive team focused on prompt customer assistance.

You will grow agronomy and feed sales, handle grain contracts and invoices, and use CRM to document calls while maintaining inventory and office supplies at the location.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid state driver’s license.
• Able to move or lift up to 50 pounds.
• Associate's degree or two to five years related experience, or equivalent.
• One year of related experience.
• Understand the seasonality of an agricultural cooperative and the in-season time commitment.

Responsibilities

• Ensure customer satisfaction by prompt attention and directing customers to the right areas.
• Maintain and grow agronomy and feed sales, grain origination and marketing with existing customers and new customers.
• Process grain contracts, inter-company feed orders, inventories transfers and purchases as applicable.
• Serve as a resource on operational procedures for scale/receiving area, invoicing, and grain contracts.
• Document and submit sales call information in CRM; assist with inventory control of location products.
• Maintain inventory of office supplies.
• Prepare accurate/timely invoices and ensure fair pricing of products/services.
• Understand Landus credit, sales, and inventory policies.
• Daily verification of sales invoices for accuracy.
• Monitor agronomy sales contracts and prepay for accuracy.

How will you have an impact in this role?

The Relationship specialist will provide outstanding customer service and will ensure prompt attention to our farmer owners. You will be a part of a supportive team ensuring customers get the help they need.

What will you do?

• Ensure customer satisfaction by prompt attention assisting or directing customers to the appropriate areas to meet their needs.
• Maintain and increase agronomy and feed sales, grain origination and marketing with existing customers and grow business with new customers, as applicable.
• Ability to complete grain contracts, inter-company feed orders, and inventory transfers and purchases, if applicable.
• Act as a resource for other employees on operational procedures for scale/receiving area, invoicing, and grain contracts.
• Understand how to document and submit sales call information in CRM (Customer Relationship Management System). Assist with inventory control of products offered at the location.
• Maintain inventory of office supplies.
• Prepare accurate/timely invoices; assure equitable calculation of products/services provided.
• Working knowledge of Landus credit, sales, and inventory policies
• Daily verification of sales invoices for accuracy
• Monitor agronomy sales contracts/prepay for accuracy

Requirements

The ideal candidate will have:

• Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or two to five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• One year of related experience.
