Job summary

Landus Cooperative seeks a Relationship Specialist to deliver outstanding customer service to farmer-owners and ensure timely help and guidance across teams. You will support agronomy and feed sales, grain origination, and related marketing activities with both existing and new customers.

The role requires lifting up to 50 pounds, driving license validity, and familiarity with CRM systems to document calls and manage inventory and invoicing.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid state driver’s license.
• Must be able to move/lift up to 50 pounds.
• Associate's degree or 2–5 years related experience, or equivalent combination.
• One year of related experience.
• Understand the seasonality of an agricultural cooperative and the in-season time commitment.

Responsibilities

• Provide outstanding customer service and prompt attention to farmer owners.
• Maintain and grow agronomy and feed sales, grain origination, and marketing with existing customers and new ones.
• Complete grain contracts, inter-company feed orders, and inventory transfers as applicable.
• Serve as a resource for other employees on scale/receiving area, invoicing, and grain contracts.
• Document and submit sales call information in the CRM and assist with inventory control of location products.
• Maintain inventory of office supplies.
• Prepare accurate invoices and ensure proper pricing of services.
• Follow Landus credit, sales, and inventory policies.
• Verify sales invoices for accuracy daily.
• Monitor agronomy sales contracts and prepay for accuracy.

How will you have an impact in this role?

The Relationship specialist will provide outstanding customer service and will ensure prompt attention to our farmer owners. You will be a part of a supportive team ensuring customers get the help they need.

What will you do?

• Ensure customer satisfaction by prompt attention assisting or directing customers to the appropriate areas to meet their needs.
• Maintain and increase agronomy and feed sales, grain origination and marketing with existing customers and grow business with new customers, as applicable.
• Ability to complete grain contracts, inter-company feed orders, and inventory transfers and purchases, if applicable.
• Act as a resource for other employees on operational procedures for scale/receiving area, invoicing, and grain contracts.
• Understand how to document and submit sales call information in CRM (Customer Relationship Management System). Assist with inventory control of products offered at the location.
• Maintain inventory of office supplies.
• Prepare accurate/timely invoices; assure equitable calculation of products/services provided.
• Working knowledge of Landus credit, sales, and inventory policies
• Daily verification of sales invoices for accuracy
• Monitor agronomy sales contracts/prepay for accuracy

Requirements

The ideal candidate will have:

• Must have a valid state driver’s license.

• Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or two to five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• One year of related experience.
• Understand the seasonality of an agricultural cooperative and the in-season time commitment.
