Job summary

Landus Cooperative is seeking a Relationship Specialist to deliver outstanding customer service to farmer owners and support agronomy, feed sales, grain origination, and related operations.

You will be part of a team that ensures customers receive prompt assistance and accurate invoicing while collaborating across departments to grow business at the Sulphur Springs site.

Qualifications

• Must have an Associate's degree (AA) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school, or 2–5 years related experience.
• One year of related experience.
• Must have a valid state driver’s license.
• Able to move/lift up to 50 pounds.
• Understand seasonality of an agricultural cooperative and in-season time commitment.

Responsibilities

• Provide prompt customer service and direct customers to the appropriate area to meet their needs.
• Maintain and grow agronomy and feed sales, grain origination and marketing with existing customers and attract new customers.
• Process grain contracts, inter-company feed orders, and inventory transfers.
• Act as a resource for other employees on operational procedures for scale/receiving area, invoicing, and grain contracts.
• Document and submit sales call information in the CRM; assist with inventory control of location products.
• Maintain inventory of office supplies.
• Prepare accurate/timely invoices and ensure equitable calculation of products/services.
• Understand Landus credit, sales, and inventory policies.
• Daily verification of sales invoices for accuracy; monitor agronomy sales contracts/prepay for accuracy.

How will you have an impact in this role?

The Relationship specialist will provide outstanding customer service and will ensure prompt attention to our farmer owners. You will be a part of a supportive team ensuring customers get the help they need.

What will you do?

• Ensure customer satisfaction by prompt attention assisting or directing customers to the appropriate areas to meet their needs.
• Maintain and increase agronomy and feed sales, grain origination and marketing with existing customers and grow business with new customers, as applicable.
• Ability to complete grain contracts, inter-company feed orders, and inventory transfers and purchases, if applicable.
• Act as a resource for other employees on operational procedures for scale/receiving area, invoicing, and grain contracts.
• Understand how to document and submit sales call information in CRM (Customer Relationship Management System). Assist with inventory control of products offered at the location.
• Maintain inventory of office supplies.
• Prepare accurate/timely invoices; assure equitable calculation of products/services provided.
• Working knowledge of Landus credit, sales, and inventory policies
• Daily verification of sales invoices for accuracy
• Monitor agronomy sales contracts/prepay for accuracy

Requirements
