Job summary

Landus Cooperative in Mitchellville, TN is seeking a Relationship Specialist to provide outstanding customer service to our farmer owners. You will be part of a supportive team ensuring timely help and supporting agronomy, feed sales, grain origination, and related operations.

Responsibilities include prompt customer assistance, processing grain contracts and inventory transfers, using the CRM to record calls, maintaining office supplies, and ensuring accurate invoicing while adhering to Landus

Qualifications

• Must have a valid state driver's license.
• One year of related experience.
• Associate degree or equivalent with agricultural/cooperative exposure is preferred.
• Understand seasonality of an agricultural cooperative and in-season time commitments.

Responsibilities

• Ensure customer satisfaction by prompt attention and directing customers to the appropriate areas to meet their needs.
• Maintain and increase agronomy and feed sales, grain origination and marketing with existing customers and grow business with new customers.
• Complete grain contracts, inter-company feed orders, and inventory transfers and purchases, if applicable.
• Act as a resource for other employees on operational procedures for scale/receiving area, invoicing, and grain contracts.
• Document and submit sales call information in CRM; assist with inventory control of products offered at the location.
• Maintain inventory of office supplies.
• Prepare accurate invoices; assure equitable calculation of products/services provided.
• Understand Landus credit, sales, and inventory policies.
• Daily verification of sales invoices for accuracy.
• Monitor agronomy sales contracts/prepay for accuracy.

What will you do?

• Ensure customer satisfaction by prompt attention assisting or directing customers to the appropriate areas to meet their needs.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will have:

• Must have a valid state driver’s license.
• Must be able to move/lift up to 50 pounds.
• Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or two to five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• One year of related experience.
• Understand the seasonality of an agricultural cooperative and the in-season time commitment.
