Job summary

U.S. Bank is seeking Client Relationship Consultants to engage customers across in-person, appointments, and digital channels. You will assess banking needs, educate clients on deposit and loan products, and open new accounts while maintaining regulatory compliance.

Roles range from Consultant 2 to 4, with progressively expanding experience requirements. The position emphasizes a digital-first mindset, proactive outreach, and collaboration with branch teams to deliver an exceptional client

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Consultant 2 typically 3–4 years retail banking experience.
• Consultant 3 typically 4–5 years retail banking experience.
• Consultant 4 typically 5+ years retail banking experience.
• Proven ability to build and foster client relationships.
• Ability to engage and communicate with clients.
• Thorough knowledge of bank policies, procedures and support systems.
• Experience with digital products and self-service technologies.
• Experience with sales campaigns/promotions.
• Financial services industry experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Builds and fosters relationships with clients through proactive outreach and follow up.
• Educates clients on digital products and self-service technologies.
• Opens new consumer and business accounts and processes service requests.
• Assesses customer needs and recommends solutions based on goals.
• Gathers and maintains client information and supports credit applications.
