Job summary

Truist is seeking a Customer Service Representative to deliver exceptional client service both in-person and on the phone, while expanding client relationships through consultative conversations. The role includes cross-training to perform teller duties as needed and supporting branch sales goals.

The successful candidate will conduct deposits and loan applications, adhere to controls, and participate in ongoing product knowledge sessions to better serve clients.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 2 years of client sales and service experience.
• Experience sourcing and prospecting for new clients.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• SAFE (Mortgage Licensing Act) compliant within 30 days of employment; includes NMLS checks.
• Ability to multi-task under time constraints.
• Ability to travel for temporary staffing needs.
• Ability to work weekends and/or extended hours.

Responsibilities

• Provide industry-leading client service in person and on the phone.
• Develop, expand and retain client relationships through consultative conversations.
• Refer complex needs to internal specialists for appropriate solutions.
• Cross-train to perform teller duties as needed and support branch targets.
• Participate in branch leadership routines and sales meetings.
• Keep updated on policies, procedures and risk controls.
• Greet clients and assist them through branch processes.
