Job summary

Liberty Bank is seeking a Universal Banker in Connecticut to lead outstanding customer experiences at our branches. You will be the first contact for new and existing customers, building meaningful relationships through discovery conversations and helping resolve branch-operated needs.

The role emphasizes sales of banking products, knowledge of digital channels, and compliance with bank policies. Weekend hours may be required, with NMLS registration as a consideration for related duties.

Qualifications

• College degree or equivalent work experience preferred.
• Minimum of 6 months of Retail Banking or equivalent Sales experience.
• Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to effectively ask questions and identify needs to enhance the customer relationship.
• Availability to work weekends and/or extended hours as required.

Responsibilities

• Provides on-site Branch Operations Supervisor coverage for various branches locations as assigned.
• Acts as initial contact for customers and delivers exceptional service aligned with Liberty Bank's standards.
• Builds deep relationships with customers through discovery conversations to drive branch growth.
• Balances and processes transactions and documents activities in banking systems.
• Educates customers on digital banking channels and product offerings.
• Collaborates with interdepartmental teams to resolve operational issues efficiently.
