Job summary

NBT Bank is seeking a Relationship Banking Associate to deliver exceptional service and process routine transactions accurately, both in person and by phone.

The role includes identifying sales opportunities, referring customers to the right business partner, and supporting basic consumer deposit account openings. The position requires a High School Diploma and at least one year of related banking or customer service experience.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Minimum one year of experience in related banking positions or equivalent sales/customer service experience.

Responsibilities

• Process routine transactions and general customer/account servicing duties with high accuracy and efficiency.
• Identify customer opportunities through consultative conversations and refer to appropriate partners.
• Support new deposit account openings and ensure customer satisfaction; handle issues promptly.
• Participate in community events supporting CRA and other duties as assigned.
