Job summary

NBT Bank is seeking a Relationship Banker to deliver high quality customer service, accurately processing transactions, opening deposit accounts, and educating customers while cross-selling suitable products and services. This position may involve in-person or phone interactions and aims to meet customer needs efficiently.

Ideal candidates have a High School Diploma and some banking/customer service experience; NMLS certification readiness is a plus for long-term growth within the bank's

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required; 1 year related banking experience preferred.
• Experience in customer service, sales and consumer lending preferred.
• Ability to analyze information and resolve issues.

Responsibilities

• Process daily transactions and deposit/account servicing duties with high accuracy.
• Provide consultative service and cross-sell products to meet customer needs.
• Assist in community events and training as needed.
