Job summary

TD Bank is seeking a customer-focused associate in East Brunswick, NJ, to handle everyday banking needs and referrals with accuracy and hospitality. You will greet clients, process transactions, and educate them on TD’s digital tools while upholding risk and regulatory standards.

Ideal candidates have 1+ years of client-facing experience, basic cash handling skills, and strong communication. Evening and weekend availability is expected to support branch operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• 1+ years demonstrated experience working with clients (volunteering, education, or military experience count).
• Teller or cash-handling experience in a client facing/financial institution preferred.
• Ability to work during operating hours including evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Notary License preferred.

Responsibilities

• Orchestrates the overall client experience by effectively managing client flow (in-person and phone).
• Serves as the hospitality ambassador for the financial center, delivering consistent, relationship-driven client experiences.
• Creates personalized, client-first interactions to build trust and strengthen relationships.
• Educates clients on banking products, services, and digital capabilities to enhance convenience and support financial well-being.
• Engages clients through proactive outreach, including scheduling appointments for consumer account needs and deepening opportunities.
• Balances client needs with policy adherence and risk awareness to ensure compliant outcomes.
• Advocates for clients with empathy and integrity in all interactions.
