Job summary

First Merchants Bank seeks a Customer Relationship Representative to join our team in Monroe, MI. You will execute on individual and team sales and service metrics to help the banking center achieve strategic goals, delivering high-quality customer service by accurately completing transactions and opening deposit accounts while identifying products and digital tools to meet clients' financial needs.

You will actively engage clients, resolve inquiries, process loans, and support relationship

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
• At least 1 year of banking, sales, or related experience.
• S.A.F.E Act registration at time of employment.
• Ability to obtain Notary Public designation.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of bank products/services across lines of business.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality customer service by addressing a wide range of general banking needs in a fast-paced, relationship-focused environment.
• Proactively engage clients to understand financial needs and recommend products, services, and digital solutions.
• Open new consumer and business accounts and process loan applications.
• Utilize digital tools to educate clients and enroll them in electronic banking products.
• Maintain accurate client records and support relationship management.
• Support banking center operations and ensure compliance with policies and procedures.
