Job summary

Community Financial System, Inc. is seeking a Relationship Banking Representative to deliver a customer-centric banking experience across teller and desk duties. You will educate customers on products, assist with accounts, and support digital banking tools to enhance engagement.

You will actively listen to customer needs, build trust, and coordinate with internal partners to resolve issues while adhering to bank policies and security standards.

Qualifications

• Excellent interpersonal, listening, and communication skills for engaging customers in financial conversations.
• Two years of customer service and/or banking experience preferred.
• Ability to work flexible hours based on branch needs.

Responsibilities

• Deliver a welcoming, professional customer experience; serve as the primary lobby contact.
• Open/close accounts, initiate transfers, and handle routine inquiries with accuracy.
• Educate customers on products and digital banking tools; guide on features and benefits.
• Assist with issues like balance discrepancies and debit card concerns; coordinate with internal teams.
• Refer customers to specialists for more complex financial needs.
