Job summary

Community Financial System, Inc. is seeking a Relationship Banking Representative to deliver a consistent, customer-centric banking experience across teller and desk responsibilities. You will educate customers on products, digital tools, and services while maintaining compliance and service standards.

You will handle everyday transactions, open and close accounts, initiate transfers, and collaborate with partners to resolve issues, ensuring a smooth in-branch journey for every customer.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Internal product knowledge, teller, and platform training preferred.
• Attend a 5–7 day initial training program; company covers travel expenses.
• Reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Deliver a welcoming, professional customer experience and be the primary lobby contact.
• Actively listen, understand financial needs, and educate customers on products and digital tools.
• Open new accounts, close accounts, process wires, and handle service requests with accuracy.
• Advocate for customers by coordinating with internal partners to resolve issues.
• Guide customers on digital banking tools and self-service options.
• Manage customer flow and scheduling to optimize branch throughput.
