Community Financial System, Inc. is seeking a Relationship Banking Representative to act as a frontline ambassador across teller and desk roles in a busy branch.

You will deliver a consistent, customer-centric experience, open accounts, and educate customers on digital tools while following all policies. The role emphasizes listening to needs, guiding financial decisions, and partnering with internal teams to resolve issues, with opportunities for growth in a diverse, community-focused bank

Qualifications

• Two years of customer service and/or banking normally required.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Ability to attend a 5–7 day initial training program with possible travel.
• Reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Deliver a welcoming, professional customer experience in the lobby and on the sales floor.
• Open new accounts, handle routine inquiries, and educate customers on features and digital tools.
• Balance cash drawers, process teller transactions, and resolve issues with internal partners.
• Educate customers on digital banking tools and guidance on responsible financial decisions.
• Schedule and manage customer flow, and coordinate appointments with team members.
• Collaborate with branch partners to refer clients to specialists as needed.
