Community Financial System, Inc. (CFSI) seeks a Relationship Banking Representative to deliver a welcoming, customer-centric banking experience and to support teller and desk responsibilities with accuracy and care.

You will educate customers on products and digital tools, open accounts, assist with transfers, and coordinate with partners to resolve issues while upholding compliance and a collaborative team culture.

Qualifications

• Two years of customer service and/or banking normally required.
• Excellent interpersonal, listening, and communication skills with the ability to engage customers in meaningful financial conversations.
• Ability to work flexible hours based on branch needs.

Responsibilities

• Deliver a welcoming, professional, and personalized customer experience during every interaction.
• Build trust by actively listening and understanding customers’ financial needs and goals.
• Process everyday banking transactions and routine inquiries accurately while educating customers on features, benefits, and tools.
• Open new accounts, close accounts, initiate wire transfers, and support service requests.
• Assist customers with issues such as balance discrepancies and debit card fraud, coordinating with internal partners to resolve.
• Educate customers on digital banking tools and best practices.
• Manage customer flow and wait times by coordinating appointments.
