Job summary

Community Financial System, Inc. (CFSI) is seeking a Relationship Banking Representative to deliver a consistent, customer-centric banking experience across teller and desk duties. You will educate customers on products and digital tools, open accounts, process transactions, and ensure secure, compliant service.

You will build trusted relationships, identify customer needs, and coordinate with partners to resolve issues while supporting branch goals and a positive work environment.

Qualifications

• Two years of customer service and/or banking experience typical
• High school diploma or GED required; additional training preferred
• Able to travel to training locations or branches as needed
• Reliable transportation and flexible hours

Responsibilities

• Deliver a welcoming, professional customer experience at the lobby and tellers.
• Listen to customer needs and educate on products, services, and digital tools.
• Open/close accounts, process transactions, and handle routine inquiries accurately.
• Assist with issues such as balance discrepancies or card security, and coordinate resolutions.
• Educate customers on digital banking and self-service options.
• Travel to multiple branch locations as required to support staffing and service levels.
• Partner with colleagues to meet branch goals and provide exceptional service.
