NBT Bank in Pittsfield, MA is seeking a Relationship Banking Associate to deliver high-quality customer service and timely processing of routine transactions. You will identify customer needs, refer opportunities to the right partner, and support basic deposit opening processes.

Applicants should have a high school diploma or equivalent and at least one year in banking or related customer service. Strong communication and computer skills are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; minimum one year experience in related banking positions or equivalent sales/customer service experience.
• Excellent listening & communication skills.
• Ability to identify customer needs and opportunities and refer to appropriate business partner or line of business.
• Proficient computer skills.

Responsibilities

• 65% Processes routine transactions and account servicing with high accuracy.
• 25% Identify customer opportunities through consultative conversations and refer to partners; conduct sales/service calls.
• 5% Participate in Community Reinvestment Act CRA events.
• 5% Perform other duties as assigned.
