Job summary

NBT Bank in Great Bend, KS seeks a Relationship Banking Associate to provide high-quality customer service, process routine transactions and refer opportunities to business partners. The role requires a HS diploma and 1+ year in banking or sales/customer service, with strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Strong computer literacy is expected. Responsibilities include conducting deposits, referrals, and basic account openings, with opportunities to engage in community CRA efforts.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Minimum one year experience in related banking positions or equivalent sales/customer service experience
• Excellent listening & communication skills
• Ability to approach, identify and have conversations with customers and identify needs and opportunities
• Organizational, interpersonal and customer relations skills including problem solving and decision-making

Responsibilities

• 65% Processes routine transactions and related customer/account servicing duties with high accuracy.
• 25% Identify customer opportunities through conversations, conduct sales and service calls, refer customers to partners.
• 5% Participates in community events supporting CRA.
