Job summary

Vantage West is seeking a Relationship Banker I in Tucson, AZ. The role combines sales and service to build lasting member relationships through consultative financial conversations and tailored solutions.

The position includes a language stipend of $200/month after 90 days and a salary range of $19.00–$22.72 per hour, with final pay based on experience and qualifications. Eligible benefits are described in the company’s plan.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Two years of customer service, sales, and/or retail banking experience.
• One year of sales experience (preferred).
• Excellent attention to detail and sound judgement.
• Ability to work in an agile, goal-oriented environment.
• Must be an effective team player, cooperative, flexible and dependable.
• Clear and effective communication; basic math and computer skills.
• Ability to influence and build rapport quickly.

Responsibilities

• Perform sales, service and operational tasks in the branch, delivering unsurpassed service and processing transactions accurately.
• Engage members with consultative conversations to uncover needs and offer tailored solutions.
• Welcome members as Lobby Leader and manage lobby flow and wait times.
• Educate members on self-service options like mobile app and ITMs to complete transactions.
• Follow processes and regulations in daily activities, ensuring compliant service.
• Adapt to change and use tools to improve service delivery and efficiency.
• Resolve member requests or escalate to appropriate departments.
• Partner with Wealth Managers, Business Bankers and Mortgage Officers to meet complex needs.
• Seek feedback to improve performance and member experience.
• Represent Vantage West at events and support community relations.
• Train new and existing team members as needed.
• Assist with opening/closing duties and cross-department support.
• Proactively perform other duties as needed.
