Job summary

Vantage West Credit Union is seeking a Senior Relationship Banker who drives branch success through exceptional member service, strong sales performance, and operational support. This role develops future leaders while maintaining a focus on member engagement and financial solutions.

You will mentor peers and assist with training, all while modeling service excellence and compliance. This role is eligible for a language stipend of $200/monthly after 90 days of employment.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• Two (2) years of similar retail banking experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide escalated operational support to Branch Leadership and team, including opening/closing, overrides, and de-escalation.
• Oversee day-to-day work of others; schedule, train, mentor, coach; show policy/procedure expertise.
• Develop members as Financial Wellness Coach; assist with debt, credit, mortgage guidance.
• Handle deposits, transfers, withdrawals, new accounts, IRAs, CDs, loans per policies.
• Assist with fiduciary accounts; review/approve documents for compliance.
• Support usage of self-service/digital channels (mobile app, website, ITMs).
• Partner with Wealth Managers, Business Bankers, Mortgage Officers for specialized needs.
• Build network and pipeline via calls, events, and local business outreach.
• Seek feedback to improve performance and member experience.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
