Job summary

Vantage West Credit Union is hiring a Relationship Banker I to build lasting member relationships through consultative financial conversations and solution-based selling. The role focuses on deposits, loans, and digital-channel guidance, delivering personalized financial solutions that meet member goals.

Eligible for a language stipend of $200/month after 90 days. Salary range $19.00–$22.72 per hour, with final pay determined by experience and qualifications.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 2 years in customer service, sales or retail banking.
• Knowledge of NMLS licensing is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform sales, service and branch operations to build member loyalty.
• Engage members to uncover needs and recommend tailored financial solutions.
• Welcome lobby guests, manage sign-ins and wait times.
• Educate members on digital channels and self-service tools.
• Ensure compliance with laws, policies and procedures.
• Support change and adopt new tools to improve service delivery.
• Resolve member inquiries or route to the right specialist.
• Collaborate with Wealth Managers, Business Bankers and Mortgage Officers.
• Seek feedback and participate in community events when needed.
• Assist with training teammates and support other departments as required.
