Job summary

Regions Bank, Birmingham, Alabama, seeks a Relationship Banker - Team Lead to meet with customers in person and by phone, assess financial needs, and offer Regions products to help achieve goals.

You will coach a team of bankers, oversee branch activities in the Branch Manager's absence, and collaborate with sales and service teams to grow relationships while upholding regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• Must have a High School Diploma or GED.
• Two years of banking, sales, and/or customer service experience.
• Ability to work Saturdays as needed.
• Ability to handle cash and process cash transactions.
• Excellent communication in person, on the phone, and through electronic channels.
• Proficiency with computers including typing and monitoring.
• Ability to stand/walk for extended periods.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Guide and direct all branch activities with the Branch Manager.
• Achieve branch targets by identifying customer needs and advising Regions solutions.
• Make outbound calls to expand relationships and acquire new customers.
• Partner with leadership on new business development and community welfare.
• Provide coaching to junior bankers to strengthen product knowledge.
• Educate customers on Regions’ consumer and business products and services.
• Explain digital banking solutions to customers for easier use.
• Ensure a consistent optimal customer experience across channels.
• Oversee branch operations and compliance tasks.
• Assist with hiring decisions and scheduling when needed.
• Refer customers to internal experts for deeper financial goals.
• Follow all bank processes and manage operational risks.
