Job summary

UMB branches offer opportunities to grow your financial knowledge and career within Consumer banking. As a Personal Banker, you’ll build relationships, learn products, and guide customers to solutions that support their financial well-being.

You’ll spend time asking personalized questions, manage a loan pipeline, and cross-sell home equity loans, personal loans, auto loans, and mortgage referrals while maintaining high service standards.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent is required.
• Two years of retail banking sales experience or related experience are required.
• Ability to obtain an NMLS registration within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Asking personalized questions to learn customers' financial goals and connect them to solutions.
• Create and manage a loan pipeline with strong closing conversions focusing on home equity loans, lines of credit, unsecured personal loans, auto loans, and mortgage referrals.
• Grow the customer base by applying product knowledge to source lending opportunities through networking and proactive sourcing.
• Learn processes like transactions, cash drawer handling, and bank documentation per industry standards.
• Aim to exceed daily KPIs while delivering unparalleled customer experience.
• Other duties as assigned.
