Job summary

Fifth Third Bank in New Lenox, IL is seeking a Personal Banker II. After a 4-8 week onboarding program with rotations in Operations and Sales & Service, you will become a Retail Personal Banker II focusing on sales development and relationship building across deposits, loans, and fee-based services.

You will promote a full range of banking products, service existing and new customers, and collaborate with Mortgage, Small Business, and Commercial partners.

Qualifications

• College degree or work experience providing transferrable skills.
• Experience in the financial industry preferred.
• Ability to develop comfort with sales activities to acquire new customers and cross-sell to existing ones.
• S.A.F.E. Act registration (NMLS) required at time of employment.

Responsibilities

• Use consultative sales process to build customer profiles and identify financial needs.
• Maintain knowledge of Retail products and recommend solutions to customers.
• Cross-sell and reference appropriate partners (Mortgage, Small Business, Commercial).
• Meet/exceed sales goals and contribute to revenue growth.
• Ensure confidentiality and handle customer information ethically.
