Job summary

Woodforest National Bank in Houston, TX is seeking a Banker to serve as a frontline ambassador, delivering the Woodforest Experience by building and growing retail customer relationships through outstanding service and proactive product recommendations.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of retail sales and/or customer service experience.
• Prior in-store retail banking experience preferred but not required.
• Willingness to accept coaching and feedback to improve performance.
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work flexible or extended hours based on retail branch needs.

Responsibilities

• Deliver strong retail performance by identifying customer needs and recommending banking solutions.
• Achieve individual sales goals through proactive conversations, referrals, and marketing outreach.
• Resolve customer inquiries at first contact and coordinate with internal partners for timely resolution.
• Maintain accurate transaction processing, account opening, and regulatory compliance.
• Explain complex banking solutions in a simple, understandable way.
• Create warm, welcoming interactions and engage customers to understand financial needs and digital solutions.
