Job summary

Woodforest National Bank is seeking a Banker in Texas Cedar Park to serve as a frontline ambassador, delivering the Woodforest Experience. You will grow retail customer relationships through proactive marketing and excellent service while following core values of Ownership, Service, Community and Integrity.

The role focuses on identifying customer needs, opening and maintaining accounts, and promoting banking solutions in a fast-paced branch environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of relevant retail sales and/or customer service experience.
• Prior in-store retail banking experience preferred but not required.
• Demonstrated willingness to accept coaching and feedback to improve performance.
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work flexible or extended hours based on retail branch needs.

Responsibilities

• Take personal responsibility for delivering strong retail performance by identifying customer needs and recommending appropriate banking solutions.
• Act with accountability in achieving individual sales goals through proactive conversations, referrals, and marketing outreach both inside and outside the branch.
• Demonstrate ownership in resolving customer inquiries or concerns at the first point of contact, utilizing internal partners as needed to ensure timely resolution.
• Maintain operational excellence through accurate transaction processing, account opening, and consistent adherence to policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
• Ability to explain complex solutions in a simple to understand way.
• Deliver the Woodforest Experience by creating warm, welcoming, and personalized interactions with every customer, every day.
• Engage customers in meaningful conversations to understand financial needs and clearly explain retail banking products, services, and digital solutions.
• Provide dependable, efficient service while maintaining professionalism, composure, and a positive attitude in a fast-paced retail environment.
• Embrace a technology-driven customer experience by confidently supporting digital banking tools and platforms.
• Build strong relationships with customers, branch partners, and community members by representing Woodforest as a trusted neighborhood bank.
• Actively participate in local retail marketing efforts that drive branch traffic, deepen customer relationships, and support community engagement initiatives.
• Collaborate with branch team members to support community events, outreach activities, and in-store promotions that align with Woodforest’s community-focused mission.
