Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2 years of face-to-face customer service or retail sales experience with a track record of meeting goals.
• Ability to learn lending guidelines and process loans within 2 years of employment.
• Must register with the National Mortgage Licensing System and Registry (NMLS).
• Strong customer service and math skills with attention to detail.
• Able to meet sales goals in a retail environment.

Responsibilities

• Identify customer needs and referrals through proactive sales/service efforts.
• Service, sell, and cross-sell deposit accounts, loan products, insurance products, and cash management services.
• Deliver exceptional customer experience following Trustmark standards.
• Safeguard assets and process transactions accurately (deposits, withdrawals, wires, etc.).
• Balance cash drawer daily and ensure documents are complete.
• Achieve sales and referral goals quarterly and transform service into sales.
• Make outreach calls to customers and prospects.
• Comply with bank policies and procedures and maintain performance standards.
• Coach and mentor Relationship Bankers and Tellers.
• Review/approve various transactions (night drops, vault items,money orders).
• Handle cash shipments and vault management; originations of consumer loans.
