Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2 years of face-to-face customer service experience or retail sales experience with a track record of meeting goals.
• Ability to learn Trustmark consumer and/or mortgage lending guidelines and process loans within 2 years.
• NMLS registration eligibility required.
• Ability to perform routine transactions and balance cash drawer accurately.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills, both written and verbal.

Responsibilities

• Identify customer needs and make referrals through proactive sales/service efforts.
• Sell and cross-sell deposit accounts, loan products, insurance products, and related services.
• Deliver exceptional customer experience aligned with Trustmark service standards.
• Safeguard assets and process transactions accurately (deposits, withdrawals, wires, loans).
• Balance cash drawer daily and ensure proper documentation.
• Meet or exceed sales and referral goals; make outreach calls to customers/prospects.
• Coach and mentor junior bankers; review and approve various transactions.
• Handle cash shipments and vault management; originate consumer loans as needed.
