Job summary

U.S. Bank is seeking a Relationship Banker who will build strong client relationships across in-person, by appointment, and virtual channels.

The role focuses on assessing customer needs, educating clients on deposit and loan products, and guiding them toward digital banking solutions while maintaining accuracy and excellent service. The position requires NMLS registration under SAFÉ Act/Reg Z, a background and credit check, and adherence to bank policies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Typically has a minimum four to five years of job-related, retail banking experience or a combination of experience and commensurate training.

Responsibilities

• Builds and fosters relationships with clients through proactive outreach and follow up.
• Identifies solutions for new and existing clients based on their needs by effectively engaging and communicating with clients.
• Opens new consumer and business accounts, completes service requests and submits credit applications.
• Educates clients on digital products and self-service technologies to meet financial needs.
• Provides a consistent optimal client experience, including greeting clients and processing basic transactions.
