Job summary

JPMorgan Chase & Co. in Houston is seeking a Relationship Banker to deliver hospitality and tailored financial solutions at our branch.

You will build and manage meaningful client relationships, recommend products, and guide clients through digital banking tools to improve convenience and security. In this role you will work with a team to meet client needs, comply with banking regulations, and participate in licensing requirements to maintain expertise across products and services.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of sales experience in Retail Banking or related industries.
• Ability to create memorable experiences for our clients.
• Excellent communication skills, both in person and over the phone.
• Ability to resolve client issues with attention to detail.
• Operate within risk parameters and meet compliance obligations, including training.
• SIE exam, FINRA Series 6, state registration (including 63 if required), and Life licenses are minimum requirements; licenses must be obtained within 180 days via JPMorganChase licensing program.
• Ability to work branch hours including weekends and some evenings.

Responsibilities

• Put clients first and exceed their expectations - deliver attentive and friendly service, creating a welcoming environment.
• Manage assigned clients and proactively meet with them, both in person and over the phone, to build lasting relationships, understand financial needs, and tailor product and service recommendations.
• Engage in clear, polite, consultative communication to understand and help clients, building trust – ask questions and listen to understand, anticipate their needs.
• Educate and connect clients to technology solutions such as leveraging the Chase Mobile App, Chase.com, and ATMs to help them with their banking needs whenever, wherever, and however they want.
• Learn products, services, and procedures quickly and accurately to effectively consult with clients about banking solutions, as well as collaborate with and connect them to our team of experts to help with specialized financial needs.
• Adhere to policies, procedures, and regulatory banking requirements.
