Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Ability to work Saturdays as needed.
• Ability to handle cash and process cash transactions.
• Ability to communicate in person, on the phone, and through electronic channels.
• Able to use a computer regularly, including typing and monitor focus.
• Ability to walk and stand for extended periods.
• Ability to lift up to twenty pounds.

Responsibilities

• Provides a consistent optimal customer experience on the cash line while handling customers’ transactional needs, such as deposits, withdrawals, payments, and other teller transactions.
• Answers customer inquiries regarding products and services and fulfills basic servicing requests (cards, changes, PIN resets, checks).
• Develops relationships with customers and remains informed about their banking needs.
• Educates customers on digital banking options (mobile, online, ATM).
• Assists branch and team members with basic tasks to aid customer problem resolution.
• Refers customers to internal experts for more complex goals.
• Follows bank processes, adheres to laws and manages operational risk.
• Strives to meet branch targets by identifying customer needs and offering Regions solutions.
• May conduct outbound calls to educate on emerging technology and needs.
