Job summary

Regions Bank Highlands Main is seeking a Relationship Banker I to deliver an exceptional customer experience on the cash line and over the phone, while helping customers with everyday banking needs.

You will build meaningful connections, learn Regions' products, and refer more complex goals to specialists. The role supports growth, offers training, and requires a strong work ethic and reliable availability, including Saturdays.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Ability to work Saturdays as needed.
• Ability to handle cash and process cash transactions.
• Ability to communicate in person, on the phone, and via electronic channels.
• Ability to use a computer regularly (typing, monitor).
• Ability to stand/walk for extended periods and lift up to 20 pounds.
• One year banking, cash-handling, and/or customer service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides a consistent optimal customer experience on the cash line while handling customers’ transactional needs, such as deposits, withdrawals, payments, and other typical teller transactions.
• Answers customer inquiries regarding products and services and fulfills basic servicing requests, such as new/replacement cards, information changes, PIN reset requests, reordering checks, and basic problem resolution.
• Develops relationships with customers, remaining well-informed about the customer’s relationship with the bank.
• Educates customers on standard consumer products and digital solutions such as mobile, online, and ATM offerings, all designed to make banking easier.
• Assists branch and fellow team members with basic tasks to aid in customer problem resolution.
• Refers customers to an internal team of experts when more complex financial goals and needs are recognized.
• Follows bank processes and adheres to laws and regulations; manages operational risk and supports sound banking practices.
• Achieves branch targets and helps customers with Regions’ solutions; may conduct outbound calls to educate on technology and needs.
