Job summary

Regions Bank in Simpsonville, SC is seeking a Relationship Banker I to deliver exceptional customer experiences on the cash line and over the phone. You will process transactions, identify customer needs, and guide them to Regions solutions while building lasting relationships.

The role supports growth with opportunities for advancement; requires strong communication and the ability to educate customers on digital banking options and mobile/online tools. Overtime may apply.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Ability to work Saturdays as needed.
• Ability to handle cash and process cash transactions.
• Ability to communicate in person, on the phone, and through electronic channels.
• Ability to use a computer with typing and sustained attention to a monitor.
• Ability to walk and stand for extended periods.
• Ability to lift up to twenty pounds.
• One year of banking, cash-handling, and/or customer service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides a consistent optimal customer experience on the cash line while handling customers’ transactional needs.
• Answers inquiries regarding products and services and fulfills basic servicing requests.
• Develops relationships with customers and remains informed about their banking needs.
• Educates customers on digital banking offerings and solutions.
• Assists branch and team members with basic tasks to aid in issue resolution.
• Refers customers to experts for more complex financial goals.
• Follows bank processes, adheres to laws and regulations, and manages operational risks.
• Achieves branch targets by identifying customer needs and offering appropriate Regions solutions.
• May conduct outbound calls to educate customers on technology and financial needs.
