Job summary

Qualifications

• One year experience in a banking or customer service position preferred.
• Proficient communication, interpersonal and sales skills.
• Proficient analytical and mathematical skills; reading and writing skills.
• Basic computer skills including Outlook, Word and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Accurately processes routine and complex transactions for branch customers, including deposits, withdrawals, and loan payments, balancing a cash drawer.
• Assists with maintenance and servicing of bank equipment such as ATMs and Night Drops.
• Researches customer inquiries, orders checks/debit cards, returns calls, and other service needs to enhance retention and uncover sales opportunities.
• Uses needs-based assessment tools to analyze customer needs; recommends and sells appropriate solutions both in person and by phone.
• Opens deposit accounts and loan applications; follows regulatory requirements and deepens client relationships.
• Maintains knowledge of bank products and services; supports branch goals and participates in coaching sessions.
