Job summary

U.S. Bank is seeking a Relationship Banker to engage customers through in-person, by appointment, and virtual channels, delivering the best possible financial counsel.

You’ll help with deposits, loans, and account openings, while tailoring solutions to each client’s goals and building lasting relationships. This role requires NMLS registration under the SAFE Act and Regulation Z, plus a background and credit check.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Typically has less than four years of job-related, retail banking experience or a combination of experience and commensurate training.
• Proven ability to build and foster relationships with clients through proactive outreach and follow up.
• Ability to effectively engage and communicate with clients.
• Thorough knowledge of applicable bank and branch policies, procedures and support systems.
• Proven customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Experience with using and demonstrating digital products and self-service technologies.

Responsibilities

• Builds and fosters relationships with clients through proactive outreach and follow up.
• Engages clients via in-person, by appointment, and digital channels to provide banking guidance.
• Opens new consumer and business accounts and processes service requests.
• Educates clients on digital products and self-service options.
• Collaborates with branch teams to deliver exceptional client experiences.
