Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Six months cash handling or customer service experience preferred.
• Proficient in typing, 10-key calculator and data entry.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Completion of Southside Bank training: New Employee Orientation, Teller Training, Teller Advanced, Professional Teller, New Accounts, Product Knowledge, Back to Basics Customer Service.

Responsibilities

• Provide teller services including deposits, withdrawals, and cashing checks.
• Process new accounts and cross-sell bank products and services.
• Ensure accuracy and security of transactions and accounts; refer issues to supervision as needed.
• Deliver friendly, professional service and build lasting customer relationships.
