Job summary

Southside-Bank in Austin Westlake is seeking a Relationship Banker I to deliver premier customer service while handling teller transactions and new accounts. You will engage customers, cross-sell bank services, and maintain accuracy and security of all banking activities.

The role requires a high school diploma, some cash handling experience, and strong communication skills; on-site work with comprehensive benefits is provided.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent required.
• Minimum six months cash handling or customer service experience preferred.
• Proficient in typing, 10-key calculator and data entry.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide teller services including processing transactions such as deposits, withdrawals, and cashing checks.
• Process new accounts and cross-sell other need-based products and services.
• Maintain security and confidentiality of sensitive bank information.
• Communicate account information to customers and refer complex needs to appropriate departments.
• Meet or exceed operational and sales goals determined by management.
