Job summary

Santander in New York City is seeking a Banking Center Relationship Banker 2 for the Coney Island, Brooklyn area. You will engage customers through needs-based conversations, promote financial products, and support branch growth while performing routine teller tasks.

Qualifications

• H.S. Diploma or GED required.
• Advanced degrees (Associates and/or Bachelor’s).
• Russian preferred.

Responsibilities

• Respond to customers’ needs in an accurate and timely fashion.
• Evaluate needs of clients and offer appropriate financial products and services to build relationships.
• Perform routine teller transactions (deposits, withdrawals, check cash, loan payments).
• Support segmentation strategy by implementing sales, retention, and other bank initiatives.
• Achieve/exceed both individual and team goals in sales, service and operations.
• Maintain compliance with Federal and State regulations and bank policies.
• Assist supervision of banking center colleagues and onboard new bankers.
