Job summary

Torrington Savings Bank is seeking a Relationship Banker to drive branch sales and manage customer relationships through a consultative, service-focused approach. You will identify customer needs, recommend financial solutions, and support deposits and loans growth while collaborating with the Branch Manager.

A minimum of 2–4 years in retail banking or customer service is required. You will engage customers, conduct outreach, assist with teller duties, and provide supervisory support when needed

Qualifications

• 2–4 years in Retail Banking, sales, or customer service.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Experience with consumer lending and new account opening preferred.

Responsibilities

• Proactively engage customers to understand financial needs and recommend solutions.
• Conduct outreach to strengthen relationships and identify growth opportunities.
• Schedule appointments and follow up to ensure needs are met.
• Refer customers to other lines to provide full financial solutions.
• Provide teller coverage and maintain operational procedures.
• Lead as Manager on Duty in the absence of branch management.
• Represent the Bank in the community to promote reputation.
