Job summary

Academy Bank, N.A. is seeking a Personal Banker to build and deepen client relationships, promote banking products, and deliver a seamless account opening experience. The role emphasizes proactive outreach, exceptional service, and achievement of sales targets in a branch environment.

You will educate clients on digital tools, collaborate with partners, and ensure accurate documentation while maintaining regulatory compliance and quality customer care.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent required; Associate's degree or higher preferred.
• 2+ years of banking or relevant sales experience required.
• Prior NMLS licensing required and ability to obtain a state notary license.

Responsibilities

• Actively develop new business and deepen client relationships through outbound calls, group presentations, and promotions of banking products.
• Deliver fast, personalized service and resolve client needs with ownership and proactive outreach.
• Meet or exceed sales, referral, and client retention goals through relationship management.
• Identify client financial needs and provide tailored deposits, digital banking, cards, and lending solutions.
• Educate clients on digital tools and self-service channels to increase adoption.
• Collaborate with internal partners to ensure comprehensive financial solutions.
• Open and service accounts, process transactions, and maintain documentation per procedures and regulations.
• Ensure compliance with BSA, OFAC, audits, and security requirements.
• Complete training timely and stay current on products and policies.
• Other duties as assigned.
