Job summary

Huntington National Bank is seeking a Financial Relationship Banker to help our consumer and business customers achieve their financial goals. You will retain and grow relationships by identifying goals and needs and recommending deposit, loan and other banking products and services.

In this hands-on role, you will provide excellent customer service, educate clients on online and mobile banking, and collaborate with colleagues to expand relationships while adhering to bank policies.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED and minimum 1 year customer service and sales in banking, financial services or goal driven retail sales, or business to business sales experience or military service in an administration, contracting, civil affairs or similar role.

Responsibilities

• Providing excellent customer service and effectively resolving customer issues.
• Proactively identifies opportunities to grow customer relationships through pre-set appointments, Centers of Influence, a disciplined sales process, new customer follow-up program, and sourcing referrals from customers, bank colleagues and partners.
• Educating and referring customers to other areas of the bank to deepen relationships and build strong internal partnerships.
• Educating customers on how to optimize their use of bank technology (online, mobile, and ATM banking)
• Maintaining your knowledge of all products, services, technology and policies.
• Adhering to all operational, security, risk and regulatory policies and procedures.
• Other duties as assigned.
